Calais RDF -> SKOS
Calais RDF -> SKOS

Just wondering if anyone's attempted to map/migrate the Calais RDF results to the SKOS vocabulary, and if so, whether they'd be willing to share their findings/thoughts... In short, I have a bunch of RDF results from a variety of services (Open Calais included) and I want to merge those results and migrate them to a common vocabulary (SKOS) but I want to be sure I'm interpreting both models correctly.
E.g. Entity/Fact/Event -> skos:Concept; c:name -> skos:prefLabel etc.
If there's nothing out there on this I'll just go it alone, but wanted to check first.
Thanks,
Heather

Thanks for your interest.
We were not planning on mapping the OpenCalais ontology to SKOS but I guess it makes a lot of sense.
We're currently working on publishing the OpenCalais ontology in a more standardized format, most likely as RDFS. I think that once we do that it would facilitate the mapping process, so you may want to wait a little..
Of course we are now also very curious about the other services you are using and how combining them with OpenCalais could potentially bring more value. Can you share?
Thanks,
Michal
