Can you point me to any information on the Taxonomy attribute of the CalaisSimpleOutputFormat Topic element? It seems to always be set to "Calais" at the moment. Can you comment on any other values planned for this attribute and whether user-defined Taxonomies might be supported here?

Right now the only taxonomy we support is indeed the "Calais" taxonomy.
In the future we are planning to include other taxonomies - whether public ones (such as IPTC or others) or used-defined ones.
This is on our future roadmap, however we are unable to commit to any specific timelines at the moment.
