Would you consider offering an additional outputFormat option that is "RDF/XML" but using the Typed Node Elements feature of RDF, giving a more concise and more easily navigated response?
We are using a more generic representation of the RDF. This helps using triples that do not have type.
By combining Description and Type - you get the typed triple you need.
